01.06.14  Join us on February 6th to observe the Breakfast in the Classroom program at Wilkerson Elementary School in El Monte and learn how to make this happen in your district.

In 2013 the El Monte City School District in partnership with the City and Mayor’s office Wellness Team rolled out Breakfast in the Classroom in all 14 of their elementary schools. Join us to showcase the terrific work done by the district and the tremendous benefits it has brought to their students.  Learn about best practices in increasing breakfast participation and strategies that you can bring to your district and community that will reduce tardiness, nurse visits and enhance the bottom line as well as students’ focus on their lessons.

Who should attend?  Superintendents, School Food Service Directors, Child Nutrition Consultants, Principals, Parents, City Officials and other Wellness Leaders in California looking to increase school, breakfast participation in their district.

As samples of the breakfast meals served will be available we do need people to RSVP. Register Now!
