AB 1594: Improving Charter School Nutrition Introduced

2.10.2012 Assembly Member Mike Eng (D- Monterey Park) has introduced CFPA’s 2012 legislative proposal, Improving Charter School Nutrition: Hunger Is Not a Choice. AB 1594 proposes to extend the the needy-student meal mandate to California charter schools, ensuring that all low-income California students whether attending a traditional public school or public charter school, have access to these essential nutrition benefits.
