For those of you looking for some funds to help implement new and innovative models of school breakfast service we have some great news.  Action for Healthy Kids has some money they’d like to give you.  Grants are $500 – $5,000 per school and are due August 31, 2014.  View more information here: link

If you could use a little extra cash and need a little extra time to apply, the American Association of School Administrators also has some funds they’d like to bestow upon you to help implement Breakfast in the Classroom and/or Grab ‘n Go models of service. Awards will range from $2,000 to $10,000 on average to be used to support school breakfast infrastructure (bags, kiosks, storage, other equipment, etc.) and applications are due September 26, 2014.  Download the Word document here:  link
