9.23.2014 Nearly 3 in 5 California public school students are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Those resources help our most vulnerable students learn, grow, and achieve to their fullest potential – but millions of kids across the state are missing out on the benefits of school breakfast. With the 2015 California Legislative Session just a few months away, please join CFPA and a panel of experts to discuss key school breakfast policy issues and emerging opportunities, including:

• State fiscal and economic impacts of expanding school breakfast
• Effects of school breakfast policies on children’s diets
• School breakfast policies to support health and academic achievement

Tuesday | October 21, 2014 | 2:00pm to 3:00pm
