Published on Aug 8, 2012 in Child Nutrition, State Legislation, Young Children

8.8.2012 AB 1872 (Alejo) Improving Child Care Nutrition was referred to the suspense file during the Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on Monday. CFPA and the author’s office will work with committee staff to alleviate some of the projected costs and improve the likelihood that AB 1872 will continue moving forward. If AB 1872 passes out of suspense on August 16, the bill will head to the Senate Floor for a vote by September 30.
