6.11.2014 Yesterday, SB 1002 (De Leon) Aligning Opportunities for Health passed the Assembly Health Committee with bipartisan support. Next, SB 1002 will be heard in the Assembly Appropriations Committee. The current recommendation is that the bill be placed on the committee’s consent calendar. When a bill is placed on the consent calendar the Chair, with concurrence from the Vice-Chair, recommends that the noncontroversial bill move through the Committee without an individual vote and without presentation by the author.
