Join CFPA in Supporting Proposition 30!
Proposition 30 provides an opportunity to increase state revenues at a time when
budget cuts have targeted safety-net programs that are critical to low-income
Californians. During recent budget negotiations, CFPA strongly urged Governor
Brown and members of the State Legislature to consider revenue-generating solutions as part
of the effort to close the budget shortfall. CFPA is in support of Proposition
30 as a viable option to help address the budget shortfall.

AB 1594 and AB 1872 Need Your Continued
Support!
AB 1594 (Eng)
Improving Charter School Nutrition and AB 1872 (Alejo) Improving Child Care Nutrition are still on the Governor’s desk
awaiting action. Governor Brown has until September 30 to sign or veto
legislation. There is still time to voice your support for both of these
critical bills! Letters of support, phone calls, and postcards are great ways to
tell the Governor why he should sign AB 1594 and AB 1872. CFPA will let you know
when Governor Brown takes action on either bill.
